Common questions
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Open Signal 9 (or Settings) inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're using the same Apple ID, your cases will come right back — purchases are tied to your Apple ID, not to any account with us.
My progress didn't sync between devices.
Progress syncs through your private iCloud. Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID with iCloud Drive turned on, then reopen the app. Still missing? Email us and we'll dig in.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are managed by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you'd like a hand, write to us and we'll walk you through it.
A case won't unlock after I paid.
First try Restore Purchases. If the case still doesn't open, send us the email address on your Apple ID's receipt and roughly when you bought it, and we'll sort it out.

Is it based on real crimes?
No. Last Seen is interactive fiction. Every character, case, and piece of media is invented, created with the help of AI. Any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental.
What data does the game collect?
Only anonymous gameplay analytics tied to a random install ID — no advertising identifier, no cross-app tracking, and nothing sold. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
